This series of paintings is titled Sex on the Beach. For a number of reasons I went this
direction. The romantic notion the true lovemaking
is mysterious, wild and full of passion seems to be non-existent in
contemporary media and culture.It
leaves nothing to the imagination and is void of any romantic connotations.Prior to the 1960 sexual revolution, when a
couple made love, we knew it as a cut to crashing waves and building music like
Bolero.The free expression and
romanticism of these works intend to reflect this era. Each one is wild and painted in a direct
manner that is like that passionate encounter of sex on the beach, in the woods
etcetera.
Prints of all of these paintings in this series are available in a variety of sizes , with frames or on canvas at www.ArtPal.com/profkenglish

reminds me of tropical flowers and warm summer beaches. This painting
is created with acrylic paint in purples, yellows, greens and neutral

together with wet flowing paint to create the marbled paint look.
Nothing was added at this point as I love the finished results.

of this area with both high plains and mountain desert when I was
painting this work.
